Cindy, a sweet young girl is being raised in the suburbs with her half-sister, Donna, and is shyly undergoing a sexual awakening. Fifteen-year-old Cindy and Seventeen-year-old Donna share the same mother, but have different fathers. After Cindy spies Donna having sex with her dad, Cindy goes wild; she smokes pot with her friend, Karen, and the two gratify each others' sexual urges. Meanwhile, Donna, more advanced along the path of sexual awakening, satisfies her sexual desire with her "boyfriend" and two of his friends in exchange for booze and pot. Cindy is seduced by Donna's beau and Cindy agrees out of curiosity and anger but Donna discovers them and he throws Donna out of the house. Tragedy ensues when a crying Donna, distraught in the street, is run down by a passing motorist. Cindy must live the rest of her life with the knowledge that her pursuit of sexual knowledge led to the death of her sister.
